My Ginger Beet Smoothie

This smoothie is so good! The taste really took me by surprise! I never liked beets but wanted to try them in a smoothie and all I can say is YUM! I bought a bag of peeled, steamed, ready to eat beets. The ingredients I put together really work so we'll together. So here it is..


-handful of baby kale
-1 frozen banana 
-1 cup frozen strawberries
-1 whole peeled, steamed, sliced beet
-1/2 inch of peeled, grated ginger
-2 tbsp coconut oil (optional)
-filled with vanilla almond milk


You could also add protein powder and/or yogurt of some kind.
